Mollie Brown is a small independent fashion label offering handmade clothing, jewellery and cushions, as well as fashion paintings & prints.

All items are lovingly designed and produced by designer Claire Hart in her studio in Liverpool -UK. Sourcing fabrics in an eclectic mix of prints, colours and textures  to create truly unique items.

Claire moved from Edinburgh to Liverpool to study Fashion & Textile design at Liverpool John Moores University, graduating in 2003.  She has been designing and making clothes ever since, with the way she works slowly evolving along the way. In the early days she mainly re-worked vintage items, cutting up old dresses and skirts to create new items, inspiring her love for vintage styles and prints. Nowadays Claire makes all her patterns from scratch and designs tend to evolve from one pattern to the next. She sources fabrics from all over, seeking out bright bold African prints to pretty Indian block prints. 

Claire decided to name her label 'Mollie Brown' after her Grandma who she was very fond of. She also felt the name had a lovely nostalgic feel to it, just like the clothes she designs.

Mollie Brown designs are full of individuality and style, with simple yet flattering silhouettes which exude femininity. The versatile pieces come in a range of playful prints and colours, which are suitable for everyday wear or an evening out.
